These terms are between you and Different Productions LLC ("we"), the maker of 26 Cases. Playing the game means you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. IT'S A GAME
The money in 26 Cases is game money. Winnings, streaks, ranks and lives never turn into cash, gift cards, prizes or anything of value outside the game, and they can't be sold or traded. 26 Cases is not gambling: nothing you pay for can win you anything.
2. LIVES
- Lives are bought through the App Store, at the price it shows: 1 life or 5 lives.
- A life is used up when it keeps you in a season or buys another game of that day's board, as the game explains before you use it.
- Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds follow Apple's rules at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If we ever stop running the game, unused lives have no cash value.
3. USERNAMES AND AVATARS
Your username and avatar are shown to every player. Don't pick a name or photo that:
- pretends to be someone else;
- is hateful, sexual, violent, or harasses anyone;
- advertises something, or uses someone else's work without their permission.
We may remove a username or avatar that breaks these rules, and take it off the leaderboard. The photo stays yours. You let us show it in the game while it's your avatar.
4. PLAYING FAIR
Don't cheat, change the app, or use tools to play for you. We may remove scores and usernames that we believe weren't earned fairly.
5. THE GAME CAN CHANGE
We may change the game, its rules, its targets and its seasons, or pause the daily, at any time. We try to say so in the game first.
6. NO WARRANTY
26 Cases is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that a board, a score or a streak will never be lost.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent the law allows, Different Productions LLC and its owners are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from playing or not being able to play. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Playing after a change means you accept it.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
